Default Weird occourance....

The other day I was passing through Becons Perch with my Ranger on the way to Kryta. I decide to join a PUG for the actual trip(found it more expeidant to take henchies for the quests as looking for a group was difficult between the runner spam) to Kryta. Send out the usuall "R/N** looking for group for Kryta." I get invited to a group and at the same time get whispered by some guy wanting to join me, a lvl10 necro. I accept the group and tell the guy whispering me the leaders name so he can come if he likes.

Well it turns out I had been right to avoid PUGs at this intercetion of the map. Seems no ones done the quests so the road is cloged with Centaurs that net 0 exp and are just annoying(one of the things I dislike about that area, you get out of two missions and you are confronted with lvl 8's, not terribly exciting). They decide to do the Joe quest, I've done it but I decide to tag along, shouldn't take to long.

Well Joe dies. This is where the group falls apart some go one way(looking for more meat I suppose) some head for Kryta, and I learn later some go back to beacons to start the joe quest again. After multipul deaths someone zones backand I decide to leave the group and hench my way to Kryta. I'm about halfway to the cave when I get whispered by the lvl 10 necro asking where I am. I explain that I decided to hench it and I'm currently enroute. On the other side of the cave his whispers me again.

This is where I become lost in the whole experince. He asks where I am again, the conversation goes as such:
Me:"Kryta, why?"
Him:"The miney."
Him:"I'm already there."
Me:"Good for you."
Him:"the money*"
Me:"What?"
Him:"The money you said you'd give me."
Me:"What?"
Me:"Oh you mean jack sh!t?"
Him:"3k."
Me:"haha"
Him:"2k"
Me:"No."
Him:"1k"
Me:"Why the hell would I give you money?"
Him:"For the Mission."
Me:"What Mission?"
Him:"The quest."
Me:"I never said I would give you money."
Him:"Liar. Just give it to me. You said you would."
Me:"You're retarded. No I didn't."

The convorsation turns decidly south from there leaving me baffeled and with another person on my ignore list. Was this the stupidest scam attempt ever?

LOL, people do that sort of thing at school. I remember sometimes losing track of who owed me how much for whatever and who I owed to. Seems like I always ended up with more cash than I started with tho

There's a fair number of people (GWers) who belong in Rehab. Even if you give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he was just playing with your mind for fun, still says a lot about this guy's lack of a frontal lobe. He probably doesn't have any RL friends and is a leader of his one man guild.

It's to bad you had to waste your energy talking to that loser.
